Full Grain Leather
Leather is a product created from the skins of animals. The tanning process of turning a skin into a hide can be a long one with many hands on stages and manual processes.
Full Grain Leather is sometimes full of character; imperfections, wrinkles, stretch marks may all be present, as this is common with hand made natural leathers. This is considered a feature and not a flaw.
Vegetable tanned leather is an environmentally conscious process that results in a material that continues to change over time. We refer to this as patina. Vegetable tanned leather will absorb oils from your hands, and darken under the sun. Two hides of the same color can look very different after only a short amount of time. While we try to ensure consistency, often colour, surface texture and hand-feel can all vary.
